The Cheese Museum allows you to learn about the process of making Serra da Estrela cheese, a delicacy appreciated and recognised internationally, both in terms of tourism and gastronomy.
In an area of 634 square metres, located in the parish of Peraboa, the Cheese Museum has two parallel paths - a museum and a gastronomic one - which allows different experiences for visitors.
It is a true sensory journey both around the Serra da Estrela Cheese and through the plains of Cova da Beira, once known as the Vale dos Judeus. This Museum is unique in Portugal and initially shows the fauna and flora in the context of Serra da Estrela.
