This Roman Villa was occupied during the 4th century AD and is believed to be a summer resort of a wealthy family from Conímbriga.
During the numerous archaeological campaigns, which have taken place annually since the early 1980s, were identified different spaces, like: residential area, bathhouse, agricultural courtyard with porch and servants' quarters, warehouses and workshops
The beauty and complexity of the mosaics in this building form a new stylistic group.
All the archaeological remains collected at this local are on public display at the Villa Romana Museum Space, located in the centre of Rabaçal.
