Figueira is a shale village, flat and easy to walk around. Its centre hides the community oven in its tangle of alleys. In its surroundings, agricultural land populated by olive trees gives rise to the "green gold" that was once the wealth of the village.
The access to the village leads to a fork in the road, whose paths surround the old hull of the village. It is elongated, with parallel or perpendicular narrow pathsways, forming a labyrinth where the presence of multiple details of traditional architecture transport us to other times. Vegetable gardens, backyards, agricultural storage, corrals and fields coexist throughout the urban space.
